Had some flooding in my basement so I tried to call to book an appointment with this company based on their good ratings, for some reason their system switched me to a distance City and the operator seemed very annoyed despite the fact that I attempted to call the right location, and then when I acquired about services they simply said "we do not have anybody available" and did not provide any additional information and did not even provide to attempt sympathy for my situation and their inability to help. Overall seemed very annoyed that I was calling to begin with , Definitely choose another company.
After starting with another company, I had to bring Service Master in to take over. My basement flooding had been a nightmare and they made me whole. They kept me informed with prompt and friendly service at every step. Every single employee who entered my home was friendly, helpful and detail-oriented. I couldn't recommend them more strongly and have already told my neighbours about them.
Can’t say enough good things about ServiceMaster Niagara. They were so accommodating after our house flooded at 2am (that sucked). Our insurance company advised me to call ServiceMaster and I can’t thank them enough for doing that. I called and they were there within 30 minutes (again… 2am). They removed all the flooring and setup drying equipment and left the place spotless (as spotless as it could be an hour after a full blown flood anyway). They then dealt with my insurance company and provided all the paperwork, all we had to do was sign off on everything. They then came back and renovated to fix all the initial damage (we got to pick out new flooring which was awesome and needed). Our place looks better now than it did before the flood, and we can’t thank their team enough. 10/10 service and people. Thanks again!!

My 1 star is not for the work, but for the 24 hour option. Had an emergency starting around 12:30 am. Water pouring into our basement from 2 areas. Called their 24 hour emergency line multiple times. Every time a female voice asked us to please hold, then proceeded to hang up on us after a couple of minutes. The last time we chose the call back option snd after over 2 hours we have heard nothing. So disappointing, and hopefully if we ever get a hold of them we will have a better experience
ServiceMaster has walked us through a very difficult time with a caring professionalism. They have worked to get our house back to being our home. No detail is too small. We are very grateful to everyone who has worked with us from Service Master.

Brad, Julie, and the rest of the ServiceMaster crew came into our house for 1 day, cleaned and sanitized everything, organized the basement, set up fans/dehumidifiers, did a fantastic job, after we had flooding in our basement from heavy rains. What a fantastic crew, highly recommended!!!

I had an unfortunate flood in my recently purchased forever home. Very depressing situation. I needed quick response with minimal pain. The team was very responsive and got to work very quickly. Followed my directions exactly, I have no complaints and they made sure I was informed of progress. I really must recommend them for the no hassle, quick, professional service.
Every sub was excellent at their trade and worked as if our house was their own. They were also a pleasure to work with.

Service master arrived on time to assess our damage and immediately began restoration. Our removal team was careful and left our home clean. The restoration team was incredible. Sean took control and repairs began and within the promised time lines, everything was repaired, cleaned and painted. Super work and every suggestion we had was acted on, so we were impressed that our home became ours again. True professional attitude at all times.
Very positive expirence. They worked around our schedule that included vacations and work from home. Working with our PM Jeremy was very easy and smooth. Chip the interior finisher was great, had a fantastic attitude and was very flexible about weekends and held himself to a very high standard.

Hello, I am a Condo Property Manager with Eicon Property Management and pleased to share these great comments from my board of directors pertaining to a Fire cleanup and restoration at our community in Grimsby. "After the fire, our Insurance adjuster hired a different restoration company, well known in the area, to do the work of putting Unit 1 back in place. They really did a terrible job and eventually they were replaced by Service Master. The difference between the two companies was astonishing. A day and night difference. Our contact at Service Master was Jason Reles, Construction Manager, and he was a gem to work with. Every telephone call and every email was answered promptly, and he always reenforced the fact that we were to feel free to call him at any time whenever we had questions or needed something. When Service Master took over they not only had to put the unit back in order, but they also had to undo some of the sub-standard work that had been started by the first restoration company. I can remember Jason telling us on the first day we met him that when they were finished with the unit it would look amazing, and he was true to his word. Jason's crew were professional, friendly, accommodating to other owners in our development, and I would not hesitate to recommend their work very highly. I hope we never have to deal with this kind of situation again, but if we did, Service Master would be my first call. My only problem was the lack of communication with them. Left numerous messages on the answering machine and no return calls. Might have sent a few emails as well. Wanted to find out what was going on with my claim. Once weather cleared up the work done by the contractor was great and that a follow up by Jason was appreciated.
ServiceMaster Restore of Niagara does so much more than water damage restoration! My mother's home was a complete tear down & rebuild after suffering a devastating fire. ServiceMaster took care of the entire project; from removal & disposal of her destroyed contents, to municipal permits, demolition, remediation, and completely rebuilding a beautiful home down to the final paintbrush stroke. ServiceMaster dealt directly with our insurance company, alleviating much of the stress & anxiety of navigating a claims process we were completely unfamiliar with. They were very transparent throughout the entire process. We were able to meet openly with Will, who would liaise with our insurance company, as well as provide updates on the project. We always felt Will had our backs as he negotiated with our insurance company. Jason and his team of highly skilled local subcontractors did an exceptional job with the construction and rebuild. The sub-trades were both professional and courteous, while paying attention to the smallest details. Jason is very knowledgeable, organized, and hands-on in his management of the project. He knew exactly what was happening during every phase of construction. He always took time to make himself available; whether it was providing guidance & expertise with decisions & choices, or simply to answer our questions. We felt comfortable Jason was running the project. He is truly top-notch. The end result of my mom's new home was simply spectacular. The level of craftsmanship & quality is something you might expect from a custom built home. We are pleased we chose ServiceMaster Restore of Niagara to look after the rebuilding of my mom's home. They put her mind at ease at the initial meeting, and took special care of her through the entire project. We would not hesitate to recommend them or their services to anyone.

I used Service Masters services in the past and they were good. My recent experience was exceptional! Project Manager Ian and Construction Manager Colin were both professional, very knowledgeable, courteous, prompt in responses, thorough in communication and just great guys! Their trades performed superior work, especially Shawn, their carpenter and Bert Vis Flooring was the best flooring company I have worked with and I used to flip properties with extensive renovations I highly recommend the Service Master team...well done!

When we had a major water leak from ice damming, we were very concerned about fixing and restoring our house back to its original condition. We have a 190 year old historical home. With a background in renovations I was more than impressed with the work that Jason, Brad, Angel and team did with the inspection, site prep, removal and care in cleanliness in our home. We had to remove some original wood trim and the crew carefully removed each piece and cataloged them for their restoration work. Every member of the crew was polite respectful and friendly. They instilled a confidence in me that I could trust them implicitly with the work that was needed to be done in our home. Service, professionalism and quality of work is so rare to find these days and I can’t express how great this experience has been. If you’re in need of help with your restoration these guys are the team for you. Highly recommend.

Service Master 10 out of 10!! Our hot water tank sprung a bad leak and flooded our basement pretty bad. We made the call and within an hour they were at our house taking the necessary steps and recommendations for us to move forward with our emergency. I recently had a corroded pipe burst that caused damage to my ceiling, and ServiceMaster handled the entire repair process. Will, Will, and Colin were fantastic to work with—professional, respectful, and incredibly thorough. The quality of the work is excellent, and everything was left clean and looking great when they were done. I have a busy schedule, and they were very accommodating and easy to coordinate with, which made the whole experience much less stressful. This is a group filled with professional, caring individuals. We woke up on a Saturday early morning to water running down our walls from our upstairs bathroom. I phoned our insurance company and almost immediately I received a call setting up an appointment. Will came to our house with extreme professionalism. He gave me his card at my front door and cheerfully introduced himself. I immediately felt so much better. He took all the photos and made great suggestions. Following Will’s visit two young men came to start the job. I have never seen such tidy,efficient workers. Might I add that this was a Saturday and not one grumble. The job was complete for the visit from the plumber in no time flat. Might I added that drywall is a messy job and there was not one speck of dirt left behind. I highly recommend this company and could not be more pleased.
Great service. Came to our aid for an emergency sewage back up. They took care of things without having us worry as we had a business to take care of.
